Design Information Assistant
We are hiring a Design Information Assistant. We are seeking a proactive and detail-focused Design Information Assistant to support our design, project, and site teams in delivering high-quality fit out projects. This role combines technical drawing, digital design, information management, and on-site coordination. The ideal candidate is an entry-level professional who is organised, enthusiastic, and confident, working across multiple disciplines in a fast-paced environment. Reporting to the BIM Co-ordination Manager, this role is based at our head office in Newry with travel required across our sites in NI, ROI and GB. The Role
Design & Drawing Production
- Produce and update design drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Amend drawings based on client feedback, meeting outcomes, and technical submittals.
- Create high-quality 3D internal designs and renders using Revit and Enscape.
Project Information Management (CDE)
- Assist with managing the Common Data Environment (CDE), ensuring accurate and timely upload of drawings, RFIs, technical submittals, and other project documentation.
- Set up CDE project folder structures to support Project Managers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Working alongside the construction team to ensure the correct information is uploaded.
- Track, highlight, and follow up on outstanding O&M information required from subcontractors.
Technical & Project Support
- Attend site meetings to gain clarity on design requirements and project updates.
- Carry out on-site surveys and capture accurate information to inform design changes.
- Support the team by coordinating technical queries and ensuring design data is up to date.
The Person
- Suitable for a graduate with a degree qualified in Architectural Technology or related discipline
- Good understanding of construction drawings.
- Organised, detail-focused, and able to manage multiple tasks at once.
- Good communication skills for liaising with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Ability to handle and maintain structured project information systems.
- Full driving license.
